A very important philosophical question

Hello dear readers,

So, today, all I want to do is become Pluto (philosopher). I would like to ponder with you about an incredibly deep philosophical question... *Drum roll please*...

What do you say when someone coughs? When someone sneezes, you obviously say "bless you", "gesundheit", or a personal favourite of mine (generally when one has performed at least three sneezes): "well you definitely have a cold then". But what if someone coughs?

Whenever this situation occurs, I find myself awkwardly positioned next to the said person, wondering whether to thump them on the back or to say something... This is a very strenuous situation, especially for someone who's socially awkward like me.

So, next time someone coughs, maybe get creative... Say something so wonderfully random (and possibly slightly weird - go for it) that the person will be caught so offguard that their next cough escapes from their body without making a fuss. And there you have it: your very own, man-made, cough cure. Perfect.

Thanks for reading, many hugs

The very (currently thoughtful and) happy blogger xxxx

Ps: don't even get me started on what you say when someone gets the hiccups...
